Proiect 112
“Proiect 112″ este un proiect fotografic realizat din considerente sociale. Scopul demersului este acela de a sprijinii lupta impotriva violentei in familie. Proiectul se materializeaza sub forma a 24 de portrete infatisand personalitati masculine proeminente din Romania in ipostaze asemanatoare celor in care se afla victimele violentei domestice. Statistic vorbind, victimele sunt in general femeile iar barbatii sunt de cele mai multe ori, agresorii. Tocmai de aceea in acest proiect rolurile au fost inversate. Fotografiati in situatii in care multe dintre femei se afla, incercam sa demonstram barbatilor cum ar arata violenta domestica pe propria lor piele. Tinta noastra este publicul masculin. Prin aceasta abordare, prin inversarea rolurilor, dorim sa subliniem traumele fizice si psihice pe care femeile victime ale violentei domestice le experimenteaza. Am ales personalitati pentru ca sunt lideri de opinie iar in felul acesta mesajul are sanse mai mari sa fie auzit.
Project 112
“Project 112” is a photographic project put together to respond to social movements. The purpose is to support the fight against domestic violence. It comprises of 24 portraits of some of some prolific men in Romania, in an attempt to show to other men the results of their abuse if they took the women’s place. From the statistics point of view, women are the ones being abused by their husbands, boyfriends or even relatives. This is why we tried to switch places for Project 112. Put in the same context as the abused women, men would realize the traumatic effect it has on a woman’s physic and psychic. We decided to involve as many celebrities as possible, in order to get our message to a broader audience.
