Saints and Sinners

It’s really hard to look at my own drawings and to explain what they are about. It’s like trying to read someone else’s thoughts…impossible! I should just agree with a guy that says all my works are somehow related to my childhood… It’s all probably due to my grandmother in the village, who woke me early each Sunday morning to go to church, to stand for hours on end, feeling sick because of the smell of wax and frankincense.

Perhaps the analogy actually works, since the atmosphere in my drawings often combines bad memories of sacred things…

Technique: watercolors and ink on paper

Dreams Journal

It’s a simple journal with what I can remember in the morning, after a not so good-night sleep.

Technique: anything goes (collage, markers, colored pencils, ink, acrylics)
